  Just an FYI, there's unofficial Windows Mobile support from third party developers. No real available full featured apps or synching available, but you can find some that allow you to play music off the locker. There are or were some .NET libraries one could use to build/modify Windows Mobile apps for MP3Tunes support.

  If one is a .NET/Windows Mobile developer, one could extend the current third party offerings to do more:
